Adjunct Professor, Ph.D. His research interests are e.g. in the fields of Games, AI/robotics and ethical frameworks of IT. He is also a contributing member of ACM code of ethics and has participated in several EU FP6/7 projects as an ethical advisor.

Research interests englobe ethical AI governance, societal implications of emerging technologies, technology and democratic theory, and integrating ethics into AI-driven business practices.

Mikko Vermanen, M. Sc., is a Research Manager and Doctoral Researcher at Turku School of Economics, University of Turku, Finland.
